ABOUT THE RUBY TREE
Rooted in Connecticut. Sharing Magick Nationwide.
Rooted in spiritual wisdom, inspired by magick, and dedicated to helping you discover, heal, and grow.
For 11 years, The Ruby Tree welcomed curious minds, spiritual seekers, and kindred spirits to our metaphysical shop in the charming antique-trail town of Woodbury, Connecticut. What began as a dream of creating a welcoming space for spiritual exploration grew into a community built around healing, personal growth, and a shared love of all things magickal.

In 2026, we turned a new page in our story.

The Ruby Tree transitioned from its beloved brick-and-mortar location into an online metaphysical shop, spiritual learning center, and destination for holistic healing and psychic readings.

While our roots remain firmly planted in Connecticut, our branches now reach seekers across the United States. Through our online crystal and spiritual gift shop, virtual psychic readings, Reiki healing sessions, spiritual mentorship, and educational programs, we're making the wisdom and wonder of The Ruby Tree accessible wherever your journey takes you.

Our mission hasn't changed: to provide a welcoming, judgment-free space where curiosity is celebrated, spiritual growth is encouraged, and everyone can discover a little more magick in everyday life.
The Ruby Tree has grown. And there's room for you beneath its branches.

From a Dream to a Spiritual Calling
Christina dreamed of owning her own shop long before The Ruby Tree opened its doors. In her twenties, she imagined creating a welcoming gift shop and local artisan gallery. More than two decades later, after a winding path through retail management, entrepreneurship, education, motherhood, and personal transformation, that dream became reality.

But The Ruby Tree was never destined to be just a shop.

Christina's spiritual journey began during a period of profound personal change. As she navigated the end of her first marriage, she discovered an important truth: while we cannot control everything that happens around us, we can learn to change how we respond.

Reiki became an important part of that discovery, inspiring her to explore the connection between emotional well-being, physical health, and personal empowerment.

After earning her master's degree in Clinical Nutrition, Christina opened her private wellness practice in 2006. She later incorporated Usui Reiki into her work, bringing together her interests in holistic health, energy healing, and the mind-body connection.

In 2010, she began teaching Reiki certification classes, discovering that sharing her knowledge and helping others develop their own healing practices was among the most rewarding aspects of her career.

Her studies continued through Celtic Reiki, shamanic training with Jane Burns, and a two-year Celtic Shamanism program. Today, Christina remains a devoted student of spiritual traditions, energy practices, and the lifelong process of personal growth.
Finding Purpose Through Life's Changes
Christina's path has not been without profound challenges.
Following a devastating family tragedy in early 2024, she began navigating grief in ways that reshaped her understanding of healing, resilience, and community.

That experience deepened her desire to support others facing loss and significant life transitions. She recognizes that grief can accompany many kinds of change, from the loss of loved ones to changes in relationships, careers, homes, and personal identity.

Her approach is grounded in compassion, lived experience, and the belief that no one should have to navigate life's most difficult chapters without support.

For Christina, healing isn't about having all the answers. It's about remaining open to learning, allowing ourselves to grow, and finding meaningful connection along the way.
